Vogel airfield is located at an altitude of 1670 m. The Eastern side of the airfield and the mountain tops in the surrounding area provide an excellent thermal activity in the morning and all the way until noon. In addition to good paragliding opportunities, the Vogel airfield offers beautiful and unforgettable views of the Triglav mountain, South Bohinj, Karavanke and Kamniško Savinjske Alps. On the days when the thermal vertical airflow appears, we can rise to an altitude of more than 2000m, which gives us a nice view of the Adriatic Sea and the coast.
